Talk To You - Words and Music by Gordy de Necochea
I just like the way she walks into the room
I just like the way she glides on through
Like a movie star upon the silver screen
I know who you are, but you do not know me
And I often refrain, let moments slip away
But, oh how I long to talk to you
What on earth would I possibly say to you
It's a lovely night, how about that big blue moon?
I was wondering if by chance you've ever seen
Such a silly man, a fool the likes of me
I really really like the lyrics.
But... when you switched from "she" to "you" it threw me.
You know what I mean?
Why did you not say, "I know who you are but you don't know me." and "How I long to talk to you," etc.
What do you think?
The lady is beautiful, some one you know?
